Are you planning to buy a new grill this summer, or is your old one still good enough?  We’re still using our 8 year old grill and it does just fine.

Yes to keeping our dear old rig. By the way, that’s not old burnt grease on the grill; that’s called seasoning.

I wouldn’t mind buying a larger grill, now that we have the pergola and fountain set.

I don’t want to get a gas grill, though.  I like the “purity” of charcoal, and I am a closet pyromaniac!

We use charcoal in our old Hibachi, but if I ever decided to “trade up”, I’d get a gas grill. We have a fire ring on our patio that runs on gas; we just turn on the gas and throw in a match! When you just want to relax watching a fire, you can do it in minutes. We also have a gas outlet in our fireplace and same story; we put some wood on for aroma and ambiance, and you have a nice fire for as long as you want. I can’t take credit for these nice gas fixtures, the owner before us put them in. But, enjoying these have me thinking about a gas grill in future.
