Luxembourg’s Mandy Minella was victorious in her first round clash against Qiang Wang at the Baku Cup.
Minella, the third cheap air max shoes seed this week, recorded a 6-2 5-7 6-3 victory over the Chinese qualifier on the hard courts of Nike air max 2011 Azerbaijan on Monday.
World number 213th Aleksandra Krunic will join her in the second round after she dumped out the nike free running fourth-seeded Czech Andrea Hlavackova 6-1 6-7 (11-13) 6-4.
Other winners on Monday included Russians Alla Kudryavtseva and qualifier Valeria Solovieva Air max 2011 and Tamarine Tanasugarn of Thailand.
Local favourite Ksenia Pervak is once again the top seed after losing last year’s final against Vera women air max Zvonareva.
