From: Stephen — May 12, 2009
1/4 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup sour cream
1 T. fresh lemon juice
2 t. each of brown sugar, cumin, garam marsala, paprika, and turmeric
2 t. garlic, minced
2 t. fresh ginger, minced
1 t. kosher salt
1/2 t. cayenne pepper
1 turkey tenderloin, cut in half
1 T. unsalted butter, melted
Combine yogurt, sour cream, lemon juice, sugar, spices, garlic, ginger and cayenne in a bowl. Add turkey, coat in yogurt mixture, then cover and refrigerate for at least 30 min.
Preheat grill to high; when hot, oil it well. Grill turkey, covered for 8-10 minute, or until it releases easily from the grate. Turn pieces over and grill to 160°, about 5 minutes. Remove turkey from grill, let rest 2-3 minutes, then brush with melted butter.
