Wash and string green beans. Leave whole or make halves and put in bundles of 2, 3, or 4. Wrap a 3-4 inch strip of bacon around center and tuck under. Lie each separate bundle on grill pan, or foil with small vent holes. Make sauce mixture with melted butter, fresh garlic, brown sugar (to taste) and whatever other spices you care to savor. Brush tops and other side as turning over several times. Cook until bacon is done and beans are cooked. The yield is according to amount of beans you choose to grill. One pound would probably serve 12-20 appetizers.
